... blahh. Blah blah blahhhhhhhhh. Not boring but just not very interesting.
I went to B&N today to get these four books I have been wanting to read, and guess how many they had in stock? A big fat zeroo. I was pretty mad about that. So now if I want them I have to buy them online, which sucks because I actually wanted to look at the books and flip through them before deciding if I really wanted it.
I had a dream last night that me and Hilary Clinton were going door to door asking people to vote for her because she would stop women's limbs from being blown off in Iraq.
Don't ask.
If you had a CD or album coming out, who would you thank in the liner notes?
Well, more then likely I would have a book come out rather then an album. This is what I would say:
dedicated to k, d&d, and p. without you, this paper and ink would be non-existent.
Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself.
1) I am almost six feet tall.
2) I am 19 years old.
3) I love to read.
So I got my last speech results back today... I got another A! Although, I really don't think that I deserve it. I forgot to cite my sources, and my whole conclusion was ruined because of my "tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth" syndrom. Have I written about that yet? It was horrible. The sign saying that I had zero minutes left came up just as I was entering my conclusion, and everything just went downhill from there. My mouth went dry, my brain was ahead of my mouth, and I couldn't seem to get the words out without stuttering. I suppose it wasn't as bad as I think it was, because he didn't note anything about it on my results.
I took a two hour nap today, and now I can't sleeeep.
You know you're getting slightly too obsessed with Harry Potter when ... you begin having dreams about practicing the avada kedavra curse with Harry so that when he meets Voldemort in the seventh book, he will be able to kill him. I've also had dreams about practicing the summoning charm and aguamenti, which makes water come out of your wand. Seriously, my subconscience needs to get a life.
I also decided that I do think Dumbledore died. I read a lot about it online, and even though I wish it weren't so, it seems to be the unfortunate truth. A lot of people say that Snape said avada kedavra, but in his mind said the disarming charm. The disarming charm makes you fly up into the air and fall to the ground. This is what happened to Dumbledore, so it makes sense. The only problem is the disarming charm is red, and the avada curse is GREEN. What came out of Snape's wand was green, so he must have really killed Dumbledore. As much as everyone wants Snape to be the "good guy" instead of a death eater, it seems inevitable. More proof that Snape is indeed on Voldemort's side is in the beginning of the novel (page 35 to be exact), when Snape does the unbreakable vow with Narcissa, promising to watch over and help her son, Draco, with the mission Voldemort gave him. The mission that Draco must accomplish was never said, but it was very clear when Draco attacked Dumbledore and then choked up when trying to kill him. Snape had to help Draco kill Dumbledore because of the vow, or else he would have died (which is what happens when you break and unbreakable vow). So therefore, Dumbledore must be dead.
Not only all that, but JKR has reported in many interviews that she had to kill off those that were closest to Harry, because if the hero has too much support things will be too easy for him. Which brings me to a few more conclusions, Harry will most likely not die in the last book, because that comment implies that Harry will succeed with what he has to do. If Harry lives, and the prophecy is true (which it is, but only because Voldemort made it true) and neither can live while the other survives, then Voldemort will obviously die. JKR also said that she would never kill Ron, because he is Harry's best friend. And if Ron lives, Hermione must live because they are destined to be together. How could she kill Ron's soulmate? Seriously.
I still believe that Sirius is still alive, though. The color of the curse still has not been identified, so no one can be sure yet (well, JKR knows). I believe if Sirius is dead, it wasn't Bellatrix's curse that killed him, but the strange drape that he fell into. JKR has also said that there will be more of Sirius in the seventh book. But how? With the two way mirror? That's impossible because Harry smashed his. Maybe the drape traps it's victims or something. In that way, Sirius could somehow get out of there. I don't know. But the way his death was written was very shady. There was no curse color, he didn't crumble to the ground but he fell into the drape, no body was found and there was no funeral. The only proof that he might be dead is that Kreacher the house elf was forced to obey Harry, because it was in Sirius' will that Harry inherit everything he owns.
Okay, so maybe I am a little obsessed. Mugglenet.com is probably one of my most visited sites right now and I actually bought Mugglenet's Guide to the Seventh Harry Potter Book.
Apart of me is very sad that the last book is coming out already. I have been reading these books since I was nine years old! It seems so surreal that I will finally know how everything will end. After this novel comes out, there will be no more speculations to argue over with fellow HP fans, no more counting down until each novel comes out, and no more midnight book release parties. I have attended book release parties for books 4-6. It's so much fun waiting in line, itching to get your fingers on the next novel.
To anyone who actually read all this, you must love HP as much as I do or you're very bored.=)
Yesterday I applied at Unos Chicago Grill. I went purely to just turn in my application and leave, but the guy I handed it to liked it and had me sit down and take a 150 question test. It was basically a bunch of the same questions over and over. When I was finished they said they would call me last night or today. I never got a call back, so before I came to work today (yes, I am at work! haha) I stopped by to check on the status of my application. The guy seemed really surprised that I stopped by, and gave me a two minute interview on the spot. He couldn't find my application easily because he said he had over 1000 applications, so he wrote down my name and said when he got to it he would look it over and give me a call back for a more formal interview.
I can't believe that they have recieved over 1000 applications! By stopping and checking up on my application I really hope it gives me a leg up with the competition. I don't see why they wouldn't want to hire me. Haha. I'm over 18 (so they don't have to worry about child labor laws!), I can work WHENEVER and I have had over three years of job experience (and I spent a over a year working at each job). When I went in to fill out the application yesterday there were a bunch of teenagers... I feel that even if he got over 1000 applications, the majority must belong to people who are still in high school, those that have no job experience and probably a lot of mexicans (no offense, but Modesto has a lot of Mexican immigrants! There is nothing wrong with that, but I don't think they would want to hire someone who barely speaks english, ya know?). So, we'll see.
I haven't gotten paid in over three weeks at the driving school, which is why I'm so desperate to get this job. Unlike Aaron, I have some money in the bank, but apparently he is broke and had bills due today! I'm sorry, but that is so rude of Colleen. I have been making copies of all my timecards to make sure I get paid the right amount. I'm racking up a lot of hours!!!!
I suppose I should get back to work. I'm just so excited about the possibility of a new job I couldn't contain myself unless I were to type everything up. Soooo, more later.
xx
Audio: Show us the best album (new or old) that you've bought this year.
I believe I only bought two albums so far this year, and my favorite out of the two would be Fall Out Boy's "Infinity On High". Sorry, I don't feel like uploading anything right now though. Maybe I'll "re-edit" this later. HAHA! Me re-edit... pshh.
How many times do you usually re-edit posts? What is the most common reason for doing so?
Submitted by Mr. Guilt.
I usually never re-edit my posts. The only reason for doing so would be if by chance I were to read my post after posting (which is almost never) and I found some grammatical errors.
Who is your favorite video game character?

character????
uhhhhhhhh.................???? no idea.
soooooooo excited/not excited for tomorrow. not excited because i have to give a speech tomorrow, but excited because it is the very last one i will have to give for the semester. i have learned to love giving speeches (or i love the way i feel after giving them) but it doesn't mean i still won't dread it.
instead of going to new york over the summer, my mom has finally decided to go on a cruise. yay! we are leaving end of july and won't be back until mid-august. our port of departure is in FLORIDA! i've been there twice. once, when i was six i went there with my papa. we went for business for him, and spent a couple of days at disney world. i don't remember much to be honest, except for it rained one day and me and papa got all wet. i thought it was the coolest thing ever. the second time was on a layover to cancun when i was 13. i remember it a lot better, but seeing as the only part of florida i saw was from the airport windows, that isn't saying much. we're leaving two days before the cruise, the cruise is a week long, and after the cruise we are going to spend time in orlando (disney world maybe?), drive to miami and do stuff there, and visit relatives in fort lauderdale. the after cruise part should take about a week. i think we're coming back the 11th-12th of august. not entirely sure.
excitedddd! we're gonna see jamaica, haiti, cozumel mexico (i've been there before), and the grand cayman islands.
you're probably thinking my mom is rich or something. trust me, we're not. we just got a great deal!
i would divulge in more information, but seeing as this is a public blog, there is always the threat of stalkers. i've heard horror stories about them. doesn't sound like fun.
i should really practice my speech. i'm worried to the MAX that i will forget my intro again. last time i fortunately stood there for about twenty seconds and it came to me, so i was able to continue. but still. if it happens again i will forever be embarrassed.
wish me luckkkkkk!
