I'm at that point
Everyone gets into that kind of funk where you just want to do nothing. Lately, it feels like I constantly don't have time for anything. BLAH. GO GO go go go. My english professor moved the second exam up a week early! ksjflksjdfljfs. She gave us just a few days notice, and now it is set for tomorrow. WHY, WHY WHY WHY must I have more then one test in a week?! In ONE DAY! GRR.
This is the reason why I am very much looking forward to my four day weekend. All Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday... for myselffffffff. I'm sure- or rather, I know I will have studying/homework/projects to do, but I'll do it all on Friday so I can have a blissful three days of nothingness. Of reading the new Dean Koontz novel I just bought, and of taking long walks with my dog. I can't wait.
Today I had my advising appointment with my... well advisor. Duh. I didn't like her very much. After explaining to her that my last semesters grades were due to the fact that I had mono, she had the balls to ask me whether or not I was going to pass everything this semester or not. I wish I had smily's because I would totally put a mean face right here. Anyway, it should clearly be obvious that I am a good student (and was not lying about having mono), and for the following reasons:
A) All the credit I have from AP classes, that she actually commented on.
B) My Fall 06' grades were very good.
C) I had doctor's notes with me proving that I was sick.
D) Okay, that's all. But I just really wanted to have four reasons =)
Right now, my grades are awesome. In Argumentation, I have 205 points out of 190- which puts me at a whopping A+. In Health, I also have an A+ (but I couldn't tell you the exact numbers). In Mass Media, I have a 90.2%. I'm not entirely sure about English, because I haven't gotten back any of the essays I have turned in yet. However, I doubt that I am failing. In Biology, if I guesstimate from my test and homework scores, I probably have around a B. The first test I got 72% (I was pissed about that, did I blog about it? Can't remember...) and the last one that we just took I got an 86%. It's really funny if you think about this from my point of view. I have already taken this class in high school. I passed the AP test for it, but yet for some odd reason CSUS won't give me credit for it. I decided to take it again because I thought it would be easy. It actually IS easy. The major problem is that she writes her test extremely tricky. She'll have A, B, C and then D is A&B and E is all of the above. I try to pick the best answer, but usually I'm wrong. Most of the time, I will put D down, but the answer is really E. I don't know. The first test only one person got an A (Lauren) and it was a 92%... so you know it's not just me.
So that puts me at three A's, one B, and one I have no idea.
Besides school, life is boring. We had an earthquake last week, and that was fairly interesting ;). I was out walking Hamlet when it happened.
I feel ready to be done writing now. If anything even mildly exciting occurs, I will be sure to post about it. Bye bye for maybe another couple of weeks! =D
