Dropped off the face of the earth.
I have been so swamped this past week, and let me tell you, it's not going to end soon. I had four, yes four, exams this week. Plus, tomorrow I have to give a presentation on my fallacy (gambler's fallacy) in my argumentation class. In the next couple of weeks, I have like four or five GROUP presentations to give, all in various classes. For argumentation, I have a six to seven page paper due in three weeks. A paper that requires a lot of research and time.
I don't expect I'll be updating much for the next month or so. All my time (literally!) is going toward writing essays, studying, preparing presentations, and so much more. It's ridiculous. But I'm determined to get all A's. Life is so much easier when you just aim to get A's and B's, it cuts your studying time in half. If you want an A, you can't miss very many questions on an exam.
But good news, on my argumentation exam that I took last Friday I got a 100%!!! It was a big motivator for me, because it proves my hard work and studying will eventually pay off. I can't wait to get my health, mass media, english and environmental biology exams back. I'm nervous, and yet extremely hopeful and excited to see whether I got an A or not.
Nothing much has really been going on besides school. Hamlet learned how to walk up the stairs about a week ago, and just a few days ago he learned how to come back down. It's so cute, and then not at the same time. Mainly it's not cute because he'll run upstairs and start attacking wires and slippers and pretty much everything that we don't want him to get into. That means that I am constantly running up the stairs to bring him back down. Good exercise I suppose.
Today was my mom's birthday. We (as in my mom, papa, kay and aaron) went to Uno's for dinner. Daniel didn't come because he had a football game all the way in Madera. Madera is about two hours away, and my mom didn't want to drive that far on her birthday. That would have been at least seven hours away from home. No thanks.
So I'm counting down the days until November. Hopefully things with school won't be so hectic. I've never had so many things due all within the time span of a couple of weeks. And these are big projects and essays. At least no more exams for awhile.
I'm going to sleep now. All week I have been staying up until two, sometimes even three in the morning studying. And this is all with waking up at seven. Ulgh. So goodnight, and wish me well with my presentation tomorrow. Let's pray I won't be brain dead, could mean bad news for remembering what to say during my speech.
